BOB THE BUILDER MASH AND MOLD LOGO
Logo Design, Packaging Design
Fisher-Price is a Mattel-owned company known for creating educational and developmental toys for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I interned for them in college, laying out packaging graphics, producing product imagery onsite and designing a logo for a toy centered around a Bob the Builder TV show called Mash and Mold.
The toy itself features a moldable playsand that kids can shape into different objects using construction tools from the show. The design went through several iterations, beginning with a simple mound of sand shown on the left. From there, I refined the visual approach—developing the right sand texture in Photoshop and selecting a typeface that feels bold, playful, and as if it could be written directly in the sand.
