KING UNDERGROUND

King Underground is an England-based record label for which I designed everything from LP covers to email templates and printed media.
For the 10th anniversary of The New Mastersounds’ Plug & Play, I designed a new album cover featuring custom typography created specifically for the band’s name and the album identity.
Below are a few initial concepts I made thinking about how to represent the initials of the band's name
I designed an album cover for British hip-hop artist and producer Lewis Parker, taking a minimal approach that puts the imagery and album logo front and center.
And below are a sampling of the first rounds where I looked at fun typefaces and ways to represent the logo a little more playfully.
I also helped format vinyl records covers, album labels and stickers for King Underground's artists.
I also designed media pages and emails in King Underground's brand style which leaned very minimalistic, taking cues from Apple's visual style.
